Splinter in Residence at 21 Shepherd

Splinter Orchestra begins an investigation at 21 Shepherd, exploring how sound might inhabit the warehouse — and spill into the surrounding streets and laneway.

Across 4 Sundays in February and March, they will experiment with shifting formations: solos, duos, trios, small ensembles and the full Orchestrating Sonoverse, testing how music moves through space, time and architecture.

This research phase culminates in an mini-festival on March 8th, where audiences will be invited to drift in and out, encountering multiple sound worlds from the arvo through to evening, with food, drinks and activity throughout.
