Splinter Orchestra - Residency in Process

Splinter Orchestra begins an investigation at 21 Shepherd, exploring how sound might inhabit the warehouse — and spill into the surrounding streets and laneway.

Across the residency, they will experiment with shifting formations: solos, duos, trios, small ensembles and the full Orchestrating Sonoverse, testing how music moves through space, time and architecture.

This research phase will shape an all-day, immersive festival of sound to come, where audiences will be invited to drift in and out, encountering multiple sound worlds from midday through to evening, with food, drinks and activity throughout.
